p.s: claude wrote this whole thing including this blog post (i edited some things) - it pretty much revamped the whole site for me, barely wrote anything by hand
For years my site was a little terminal you had to type help into. It was fun,
but I’ve outgrown it. So I tore it down and rebuilt this place around one thing I
actually want to do more of: write.
I used to publish at LiveCode247. I’m retiring that too. Rather than migrate a pile of old posts, I’m starting from scratch here. Clean slate.
What lives here now
- A single paragraph about me, instead of a menu of commands.
- Projects as a plain list — the things I’m proud of, one link each.
- This: Writing. Short notes, longer essays, whatever I’m figuring out.
Why bother
Writing forces me to actually finish a thought. Most of what I learn stays as half-formed intuition until I try to explain it to someone. This is that someone.
Also, I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone. I want to get started with things I don’t know how to do yet. Writing is a good way to do that, because it forces me to learn, explain and stay accountable.
No newsletter, no algorithm. Just a page on the internet that’s mine.
